The Pajama Company Takes the Stage at Pre-Oscar Celebrity Gift Suite New Canaan, CT, March 31, 2010 –(PR.com)– Celebrities declared their love for casual comfort at this year’s Connected pre-Oscar celebrity gift suite, where The Pajama Company, a leading online sleepwear retailer, shared its product.

Ellie Badanes, founder and owner of The Pajama Company, said she was pleased, but not surprised, to find that even in Hollywood people enjoy a night in with pajamas.

Even in Hollywood, pajamas are no longer relegated to the bedroom. Several celebrities told Ellie they often wear their PJ’s out of the house.

“Whenever I film and I have to be on the set early, I leave the house in pajamas, and I will walk around and do my rehearsals in pajamas,” said actress Shar Jackson, who is best known for staring on UPN’s Moesha and more recently VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club.

Like many kids in America, teen celebrities said it is normal to wear pajamas to school or out shopping.

“We love to put on our pajamas and go to the mall,” said Allisyn Ashley Arm, of Disney Channel’s Sonny with a Chance.

Ellie said “Being in Hollywood for Oscars weekend was great fun made even better by our day sharing our pajamas with so many celebrities at the Connected Gift Suite. We loved the enthusiasm of all involved from the gorgeous teen and tween escorts to our fellow vendors to our celebrity guests. It was a wonderful pajama day.”
